At Findo, we respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding the personal information of our users. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, store, handle, and protect your information in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

  • Order & Contact Data: Your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment confirmation details (we do not store full credit card numbers; transactions are securely tokenized by payment gateways like Shopify Payments / Stripe / PayPal).
  • Pet Profile Information: Pet name, breed, weight, age, and collar device identifier (IMEI / Serial Number).
  • Location & Telemetry Data: Real-time and historical GPS coordinates, movement activity data, and geofence status generated by the Findo hardware when active.
  • Device & Log Information: IP address, mobile device operating system, app logs, and standard web browser cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data only for genuine operational and service delivery purposes, including:

  • Fulfilling, packaging, and delivering orders via Australia Post or courier services.
  • Providing real-time tracking, live alerts, and historical safe-zone mapping on your Findo App.
  • Providing customer support, warranty validation, and firmware update deployment.
  • Complying with statutory Australian legal and accounting obligations.

3. Data Security & Storage

We implement enterprise-grade encryption (SSL/TLS protocols) during transmission and robust server-side security. Location telemetry is encrypted and protected against unauthorized access. We will never sell, rent, or trade your or your pet's personal tracking data to third-party data brokers or advertisers.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We only share necessary data with vetted partners critical to our service delivery, including e-commerce platforms (Shopify), domestic delivery couriers (Australia Post), cellular network providers (for SIM data transmission), and secure payment processors.

5. Your Rights & Access
